wow the longest week of my life is over!! Yay.

Sorry for being a little MIA on posting this week, just been crazy!

I am actually writing this post at the airport...waiting sucre stinks sometimes! I have been passing the time on pinterest!!! yay!! heres what I found that I have been loving and very appropriate for the day :)

I am off to Canada!!!!!

Please meet Venetia and her beautiful little girl Mya.

This has by far been one of my favorite shoots yet. Not only are both of them absolutely gorgeous, they were so much fun to work with! I really wanted to capture the beauty of each of the girls so I was inspired by a simple yet eye catching background. A mother daughter bond is like non other and at times unable to be put into words. I tried to capture the unique bond between Venetia and Miss Mya.

Happy Bubbly Tuesday everyone!!!!

My post today is inspired by my most favorite show, Gossip Girl!! Hope you all got the chance to watch the season premier last night :)

marathon Monday....

Happy Monday everyone!!! Hope everyones weekend was just fabulous and you are well rejuvenated and ready for the week :) To kick off this week strong I am excited to announce I am doing a giveaway of my cards over on Henning Love today.  My half marathon is in just under two weeks. Ahhhh I cant believe how quickly it is coming up.  The weather in Arizona is not cooling down much,  if anything it has become a little hotter in the last few days. Since then I have decided to find a way to beat the heat!  I am now getting up in the mornings and running at 6:00am when it is a little cooler out.  

The training it getting more difficult these days.  I am past the comfort 5 mile runs and I am running the 6, 7, and 8 miles now.  I have had to turn to some resources to keep me pushing myself.

My newest and best friend has become my Nathan hydration belt.  I am obsessed! If anyone is looking to get a belt, the Nathan is wonderful! I can't even tell I am wearing it.

My ipod! I love this little shuffle.  I have the ipod touch but I have found the little shuffle is exactly what I need for those long runs. 

My bubble gum!! This not only comes in handy on Tuesday's but I LOVE chewing gum and running.  I take all my anger out on every bite. 

Gu! I just started taking the Gu this past week.  The texture is awful but it does wonders for your energy.

All of my key needs to get me through a run!!

cake pops

Since I have been training for the fabulous run coming up in just two weeks,  I have been starving all the time.  On Monday we talked about healthy foods for me to indulge in during this period, but the last few days I have been craving cake pops!! YUMMY!!!!

I was inspired to make these little cake pops from going to starbucks! and PS pumpkin spice lattes are back!!!!

Really simple and easy!!

step 1.  bake a cake

step 2.  let cool and mix in cream cheese 

step 3.  add sprinkles (my fav!)

step 4.  roll into little balls and set to cool in fridge

step 5.  heat chocolate chips and shortening in a pot

step 6.  cover cake balls with chocolate and let cool

step 7.  enjoy!!!

I am not eating these myself.... although I really want to! I am taking them for my wonderful team at work.  Ok I might have one :)

How wonderful is my new header? I just LOVE it.  I want to thank Cassie from CCY Designs for doing such a wonderful job.  She is seriously the sweetest ever and has such a creative outlook so if you are looking for a blog update go check out her work!! 

You might also notice another little tab on my pages today. Do you see that tab that says SHOP? Yepp you read it right, SHOP!!!  Ask and you shall receive!!!

I have been getting a few emails here and there over the last couple of months asking if my prints were for sale.   At that time I just had my photography packages up but not prints available.  This got me thinking.... hummmm.  So when I attended the vintage market last weekend I decided to get creative.  I LOVE CARDS!! It is a family thing because my mom loves cards as well! Don't you think it feels great when you receive a card in the mail from someone.  I LOVE receiving mail that are not bills! 

Since the market went so successful I decided to put the cards up for sale on the blog. I hope you love them as much as I do!!  Here is a little sneak peak, but make sure you head over HERE to see the shop :)

Jazz Night

There is the cutest little restaurant down in Chandler,  Arizona called Fired Up Grill.  Its a family owned restaurant with a family atmosphere. Sunday nights just happen to be jazz nights! I love jazz music.  A band sets up and plays from 6:30-9:30pm, they even allow for guest to go up and sing if they would like :)

How much fun does this look?? If you are in the area I highly suggest stopping by and checking out Fired Up Grill!!!

Bubbly Tuesday!

Good day everyone! Happy Bubbly Tuesday!!!

Wow September is flying by! I cant believe it is the 20th already, crazy to think of. 

For the rest of the country the weather should be cooling down... for Arizona residents not the case.  Ah I am jealous of everyone who is in jeans and sweaters, scarfs and boots!!  Tell me what you are doing today to make your Tuesday bubbly.  Are you playing in the leaves that are changing colors??

This Tuesday I am taking time for myself.  I got some awesome new eye shadows from MAC make up that I am obsessed with!! I am also trying to master the skill of liquid eye liner....one word, HARD!!! So I will be spending some time trying new make up tricks and laying around in my air conditioning

marathon Monday....

Happy Monday my friends!! 

So Ashley and I had a blast over at the vintage market on Saturday.  I had the chance to meet some fabulous blog friends and enjoyed everyones fabulous merchandise they were selling.  The market was such a success I have decided to have a treat for you all.  BUT you will have to wait until Thursday to see what it is :) 

So marathon Monday is here! I had a big run last night and I am feeling great about it.  I have been struggling this past week, running outside is NOT the same as the gym.  NOPE not at all.  My legs are hurting!! On top my sore legs, I was wondering why I have been feeling so weak lately.... not sure what is going on.  I had a great conversation with my cousin last night after my run and we have come to the conclusion I am not eating enough to keep up with all the energy I am exerting. 

I need help from you all.  I had SUCH great comments last Monday I loved it.  I downloaded all the songs you suggested and I have purchased a belt :) So my question for you this week is;  what do you eat while training?? I have trouble in this area but I know I need to keep up my energy.  I am not the best cook ever but I do cook weekly I just need some ideas.  This is where you come in.  Give me your besr dinner/lunch/breakfast recipes!

Vintage Market

Happy Friday everyone!!

First I want to thank everyone for there support in yesterdays post.  You are all amazing and really helped me get through the week.  

It is Friday and we are all thinking about the weekend.  I have a very exciting weekend ahead of me.  First I get to accompany my good friend Ashley from The Shine Project on Saturday at a wonderful Vintage Market!!! Take a look HERE for more information!!

I am so so excited to go and help Ashley get her Vintage Shop out to the public.  

Many of you have given me such amazing compliments on my photography and I LOVE LOVE LOVE your support.  I have decided to print a few of my favorites and have them available to you Saturday at the Vintage Market.  I also have a little surprise that I wont share just yet :) So if you live in Arizona come say hi to Ashley and I and take a look at my surprises!

These are a sneak peak of what I will have for you if you come Saturday.  If the response is positive I will start to put some prints up for sale and even a few to giveaway on the blog since you are all fabulous and loyal followers.  I want to give back when I can.

The second fun part to my weekend is a vintage photo shoot I am doing with the cutest mother/daughter! Yay!! Its been a while since I have posted my shoots so I hope you look forward to it.

Take a look at my adventure through Jerome, Arizona!!

Jerome is a town in Yavapai County, Arizona, United States. According to 2006 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the town is 353.  A mining town was established on the side of Cleopatra Hill in 1883. It was named for Eugene Murray Jerome, a New York investor who owned the mineral rights and financed mining there.

If you ever get  chance to get to Jerome I highly recommend it! It was beautiful and full of culture.
