Bubbly Tuesday!

I was out exploring in downtown Phoenix and came across this cool, rustic restaurant!! I thought it was just an abandoned building, but once I walked up I noticed it is an awesome, old warehouse turned into a restaurant!! 

I love finding new places,  just when I think I know everything about the place I live in I seem to find something new all the time.

change the world

Do you ever think people are placed in your life at a specific time for a specific reason? I am sure we all think this happens many of times.  Your best friend when you were in 1st grade who had the same dress as you, and instantly your still friends 20 years later, or the love of your life that just happened to be at the same event with all your friend and then boom you get married.  But what about the people that come into your life for a short time.  Could be very short,  as in a few minutes or seconds. These are the people that sometimes make the biggest impact on your life.  Just meeting someone for that split time yet they say something to you that changes you. 

Last night I was out with one of my very best friends, Annie.  She was assisting me in a photo shoot that I can NOT wait to show you all.  be patient :)

While we were standing on the side walk a very nice older man, maybe my dads age, came up and said, "Hi girls!! What are you doing?",  we explained we were in the process of taking pictures for a project I am working on.  He then said, "well you should have a picture together, get in there let me take one for you.  It looks like you are the kind of girls that love pictures." Duh,  we are both obsessed.  He was so nice, made sure if was centered and the background was pretty. You could really tell he cared.  He let me review the picture to make sure I liked it, handed me my camera, looked us both in the eyes and said, "ok girls, change the world!" and walked away!!  We both looked at each other and said, "DONE, we will!" 

I know it can sound crazy, but that little time we spend in the presence of that man was inspiring.  He was not a creepy man, or a weirdo or anything.  He was like a regular dad, just an ordinary man who thinks I can change the world. Maybe I just will.  Or at least I'll photograph it well!!

Thats my story of inspiration for the day!

love fills the air

Don't you wish we could all be as cute as these two?! UH,  I am just obsessed with them. Let me introduce to you Kim and Craig.  I met this fab couple while in Canada over the summer and immediately fell in love with them.  Kim has a personality that is contagiously addicting. Always warm, fun, outgoing, you cant help but be happy and naturally drawn to her when she is around.  I can see why Craig adores her, and I am sure you can too in these photos. They were amazing to work with, and I cant wait until they book another session!!

Oh, How Pinteresting........ Hair!

HAIR!!!! It is an amazing thing! I am currently OCD about mine.  I am wishing it to grow.  grow long, and stong, and loooong!!  I have been looking back at old pictures lately and my hair was so long and thick! ok, maybe not thick,  I have never had thick hair but definitely thicker than it is now!!! My solution...... not to have it highlighted in 4 months..... it is now ombre!! haha!

In honor of my hair issues these past few months, my pinterest time was dedicated to my dream hair!

Phew,  now that I am no longer stressing about completing the site I can go back to focusing and reading all my daily blogs!! I started last night and it felt great.

As you can see in the pictures about,  I still have my cast on... but only part time!! Big accomplishments happened over the weekend,   am now able to pick things up with my left hand!! Not big things but smaller lighter items such as,  a stapler, an empty glass,  a candle, ect!! It has been just over 5 weeks since I hurt my thumb and I tell ya,  has not been easy!

Today,  I am just going to relax. nothing but relax.  I started reading a book called "Unlimited" and I have been struggling to get through it but I have a feeling I am going to make a major dent in it tonight!

Technical difficulties.

Hello friends and happy Friday!!! Sooo my computer has no memory because it's full of hugely oversized photo files. It now moves slower than a turtle. Frustrating to say the least. I purchased 3gb of memory and having it installed. This has put technical difficulties into my blog posting. Today I am blogging for the first time from my phone. I hope it turns out!!! While sitting here today playing on pinterest I found a quote that I love! I think all girls should live by this. Each and everyone of you were born this way!!!!


I hope this shows up like I want!!! If not I'll fix it when I have a computer again. Happy weekend lovers!!!!

I came across the picture below and fell in love.  Recently my best friends have been even more apart of my life.  They have always ALWAYS played a huge part,  but since the new year it has gotten even strong.  I am such a lucky girl. 

I want to reenact all of these photos.  How amazing!

Bubbly Tuesday!

I apologize for missing yesterday.  How was everyones MLK day? Who got a 3 day weekend, and who was stuck at work? I had the opportunity to go into work, holiday pay and time and a half? Yes please....Do you know how many camera lenses I can purchase with that? haha!! I have been crazy busy these past few weeks.  Trying to heal my hand, latest update: good news it that it is not broken, bad news: all the tendons in the thumb are pulled there for the muscle doesnt work properly.  I can not grab, have strength, or pretty much use it at all.  This is getting annoying and making my photography painfully long.  Ice and ibprofen  is the answer. 

SO what are we doing today? I am so excited for today.  I am meeting up with an old friend who I reconnected with to play with our cameras. She does photography as well...yayy!!! Both shoot canons, have similar styles, and can learn a lot from each other.  It feels so good to connect with old friends.  I truly believe that people are placed in your life at certain times for certain reasons.  That old saying "when one door closes another one opens" has been nothing but true in my life these past few months.  Sometimes you need to stop fighting the grain and just start to go with it!

puppy love.

I want a puppy! So bad.  I just think they are adorable.  Ever think why they call it puppy love when you first are head over heels for someone? Is it cuz it's young? As in fresh and new? Am I silly for asking these questions? Well right now in my life I am so thankful for having this wonderful puppy to have puppy love.  Its so heart warming to have someone just be so excited to see you,  and love you, and play with you.  It's a best friend.  And to be honest,  a heck of a lot easier than trying to figure out puppy love with humans :)
